In these interactive sessions participants will gain knowledge and learn proven tools to enhance staff engagement, motivation, satisfaction, and retention. This includes the understanding that true business success can only be attained by capturing both the hearts and minds of an organization’s most important asset – the people who work there.

Session 1: Leadership Tips That Enhance Staff Satisfaction & Retention

•          Develop the “leadership edge” to capture both the hearts and minds of staff.

•          The importance of being a transformational leader.

•          Emotional Intelligence and its impact on staff satisfaction and retention.

•          Brief review of proven strategies that enhance staff engagement, satisfaction, and retention (Nominal Group Technique, Organizational Huddle ™, and Leadership Rounding.)

Session 2: The Organizational Huddle ™ Review & Role Play

•          Review how the Organizational Huddle ™ develops highly collaborative interdisciplinary teams focused on enhancing the patient/resident experience.

•          Discuss how the Organizational Huddle ™ builds a culture of accountability.

•          The importance of the Organizational Huddle ™ Champion role.

•          Keys to a successful Organizational Huddle ™ implementation.

•          Conduct “live” Organizational Huddles ™.

One day prior to each session, all registrants will be emailed:

  • Handouts for the presentation, including a credit and evaluation form for CEUs.

PLEASE NOTE: Cost is per connection. Multiple participants may listen in on one connection at the cost of one registration. Multiple lines from the same facility will be invoiced an additional registration fee.
